Producers at Fresh Planet manage the process that creates games. This means working with technical staff, game designers, visual designers, and others at the company to make sure that excellent games are created on schedule.
Your responsibilities:
- scheduling and managing resources of game development teams
- working closely with company management to align schedules and release dates
- tracking all aspects of a game’s development in appropiate software programs
- leading the bugtesting and tracking effort across the company
- managing the personalities of a highly creative team
- leading a the project team through creative and strategic meetings and discussions
- improvising solutions to unexpected problems of all kinds
- taking part in the hiring process of new potential staff
- having creative input on all aspects of games as they develop
Your profile:
- experience managing complex projects, particularly in software development
- excellent organizational and analytic skills
- strong people skills and the ability to work smoothly on a diverse team
- good written and verbal communication skills
- familiarity with some project management software and different approaches to managing software development
- ability to multi-task across multiple fields and play a broadly defined role at the company
- comfort in giving creative input on projects as they develop
